- Become more familiar with our parish-family members
- Get to know our guests and visitors
WHEN: September 12-16, 2010
WHERE: Christ Lutheran Church
"Isn't Evangelism just the pastor's job?" This question is posed in the Rev. Dr. A. L. Barry's excellent article, "What about telling the Good News about Jesus?"
Consider asking one or a few of your friends who do not have a church home to gather and worship with us. Pray for them that they might know the gift of everlasting life found only in Christ. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. Of His Own will He brought us forth by the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures." (James 1:17-18).
Outreach is a major responsibility of your pastors and we take that to heart! Outreach is not only for pastors, but for all Christians baptized into the Savior's Name.
